Chief Pilot – Full-Time

Chief Pilot opportunity available at Air New England, a small but vibrant and growing 135 operator based in the Northeast. The ideal candidate will embrace the role of Chief Pilot and all the responsibilities that entails. This role also includes flying revenue, training and maintenance flights as necessary in a primary role during our busy season.

We are a safety-first Part 135 operation. We want a Chief Pilot who can help build a flight department based on a positive, safety-first, team-based mindset. Join our team and enjoy your flying career flying beautiful New England, northeast, and Canada and be home in your own bed at night.

We have openings for Full-Time Pilot positions as well. We fly locally most days but there may be a couple days a month that an overnight stop is required. We currently fly a Beechcraft Baron, King Air C-90, and in the process of adding a Citation Mustang jet to the fleet. SIM Jet training dates have been reserved!


Chief Pilot Requirements

  • 3000 Total Hours Minimum
  • 500 Hours Cross-Country
  • 200 Hours Night Cross-Country
  • 200 Hours Combined Hood, IMC * Must be IFR current
  • 800 Hours Multi-Engine (Turboprop and jet a plus)
  • ATP Rating Preferred but not Required
  • Second-Class Medical
  • Commercial Certificate with Instrument
  • Multi-Engine and Single-Engine Ratings
  • Part 135 Experience a plus, 3 years in the last 6 years of Captain in Part 135 or Part 121.
  • Must work well with a team
  • Must be Customer Service driven
  • King Air, Baron, and Citation jet experience is a plus!
  • Will consider modest experience deviations with insurance approval.


Compensation 70K-100K with possible additional incentives for the right individual.

Symphony Private Jets / Air New England:  Charter Sales Specialist 

 

Symphony Private Jets along with Air New England are  emerging leaders in the charter and brokerage industry. We want our clients to understand that they are not just purchasing a service but are also building a partnership; one that is by our client’s side and has their best interest in mind during every step of their journey.

We are seeking a full-time Charter Sales Specialist to join our team.  The ideal candidate must be adept, have a team-oriented personality, and have a passion for delivering the highest level of service to our customers. Charter Sales Specialists are essential to our mission at SPJ and will serve as the customers point of contact during their entire journey.

Responsibilities: 
  • Network with multiple aviation companies to offer the highest level of service to potential customers.
  • Provide clients with quotes for charter requests depending on the destination and duration of stay.
  • Cultivate and maintain long-lasting partner and customer relationships through networking and marketing.
  • Explore and identify marketing leads to reach SPJs and ANE goals and objectives.
  • Oversee and enter all flight data for billing purposes per client in accordance with the terms of the client’s contract or quote, notify Operations Manager upon payment completion.
  • Coordinates with clients and crews to handle scheduling changes and updates paperwork accordingly.
  • Monitor ongoing flights and relays status updates to the Operations Manager.
  • Document trip information into company software including: Trip expenses, customer/crew profiles, and contact information.
  • Ability to monitor phone and email notifications.
  • Other duties as assigned to conduct business.

Job Requirements:

  • Aviation experience is highly preferred
  • Customer driven, safety first mindset
  • Marketing and sales experience highly preferred 
  • Aircraft or Travel Scheduling experience preferred
  • Exemplary interpersonal skills with the ability to develop a rapport with customers
  • Ability to meet schedules and deadlines
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Submit to an initial drug test along with random drug and alcohol testing in order to comply with safety and company guidelines
